1. Who we are

Hemstig is a mobile app for walking audio tours and quests in Silesian cities. Developer: Hemstig (support@hemstig.com).

2. Data we collect

Account data: username and password only. No email required.

Location: Used only while the app is open ("When in use" mode) to track quest progress. Never stored server-side.

Photos: Voluntarily taken for gnome scanning. Sent to OpenAI Vision API, deleted immediately after response.

Technical logs: OS version, app version, anonymous device ID. No personal data in logs.

3. How we use it

Quest and route functionality, gnome identification (on request), TTS audio via ElevenLabs (text only), technical diagnostics. We never sell user data or use it for advertising.

4. Third parties

• OpenAI — image analysis for gnome scanning
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech audio generation
• Contabo VPS (EU) — content hosting

5. Data retention

Account data stored on EU servers. Location and photos not retained after processing. Delete your account anytime: support@hemstig.com

6. GDPR rights

EU users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of their data. Contact: support@hemstig.com

7. Children

Not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us for immediate deletion.
